Privacy policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
IIC Labs is a sole proprietorship based in Texas, USA. This policy explains what data our products and support handle, why, and for how long. Questions or requests: support@iiclabs.com.
What we don't do
We don't sell personal data, show ads, or use tracking or advertising cookies. This website sets no cookies.
Data by product
Accessibility Auditor (Chrome extension)
Audits run entirely in your browser. The content of the pages you audit is never sent to us. Settings, results and history stay in your browser's storage; if you start the free Pro trial, its start date is saved in Chrome's sync storage (synced by Google with your Chrome profile, not sent to us) so the trial runs once. If you buy a paid plan, your licence key is checked through our server (api.iiclabs.com) with our payment provider, Creem. Payments are processed by Creem as merchant of record, so your payment details go to Creem, not to us.
Linesmith Line Sheets (Shopify app)
The app reads your store's product and inventory data to build catalogs. It does not access customer or order data. Your settings and generated files are stored on our server and deleted after you uninstall the app, when Shopify sends its data-deletion request. Generated files are also deleted automatically after 30 days.
Field Defaults & Create Rules for Jira (Atlassian app)
The app runs entirely on Atlassian's platform ("Runs on Atlassian"). Your Jira data stays with Atlassian and is never sent to us.
Career-Site Jobs API (Apify Actor)
The Actor collects public job postings from company career sites. Your inputs and results stay in your own Apify account.
Support emails
When you email support we keep your email address, your messages and our replies so we can answer you and follow up in the same thread. Support conversations are deleted after 12 months.
Support replies are drafted with the help of an AI model and checked automatically against our documentation before they're sent. For that purpose the text of your email is sent to OpenRouter and the AI provider it uses (currently Anthropic's Claude models). When a message reports a bug, a summary is recorded in our private GitHub issue tracker with email addresses and phone numbers removed.
Service providers
- OVHcloud: server hosting (United States).
- Purelymail: email for support@iiclabs.com.
- OpenRouter and Anthropic: AI drafting of support replies.
- Creem: payments for the Accessibility Auditor (merchant of record).
- GitHub: source code and bug tracking (no email addresses or phone numbers).
- The Apify Store, Chrome Web Store, Shopify App Store and Atlassian Marketplace handle their own accounts, billing and data under their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@iiclabs.com. We reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
